The Buoyancy Clinic with ATLANTIC EDGE
Keep your buoyancy skills trim this winter and spring. If you are going on a trip, this clinic is a great way to perfect your buoyancy. Good buoyancy makes you a better diver, helping keep our reefs healthy and increases your dive time.
Among the things you will learn as part of this program:
- Proper weighting
- Using your BC
- Equipment configuration
Students must meet the following prerequisites:
- Be certified the Open Water Diver level (or equivalent)
- Be able to answer No to all questions on the PADI/RSTC Medical History form, or secure a physician’s approval for diving prior to the start of the course
What is Involved?
This course consists of one pool session.
The course is taught at a local pool during winter and spring while it's too cold for local diving.

The course fee is $99 and includes:
- Tanks and weights
- Buoyancy Control Device (BCD).
- Regulator/alternate air source.
- Depth gauge/timer
Students are responsible for supplying the following items, which the course fee does not include:
