About Bonaire

Bonaire is the Eastern-most Caribbean island in the 'ABC' island chain, made up of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. Located in the Netherlands Antilles, the island is a mere 40 miles north of Venezuela. Bonaire covers 112 square miles, is 24 miles long and 3-7 miles across. Long known as one of the Caribbean's most outstanding dive destinations, Bonaire has something for everyone; beautiful shallow coral gardens teeming with brightly colored fish life, dramatic walls of hard and soft corals, a large variety of unusual marine life such as the timid sea horse and almost impossible to see frog fish. The shore diving in Bonaire is plentiful and easily accessible, allowing the most avid divers the opportunity to do as much diving as they want.

About This Trip

This is a true 'divers' dive trip! Known as one of the most spectacular dive destinations in the world, Bonaire also offers what is widely considered the best shore diving anywhere. This trip includes three tank boat dives, and you can shore dive every day on top of that. You can dive, dive again, and then dive some more on this trip! Trip cost includes roundtrip airfare from JFK* ( direct to Bonaire! ), 7 nights accommodations at the Divi Flamingo Resort, full breakfast daily, 16 boat dives, unlimited shore diving, and tank & weight rental.

* Why JFK - JFK offers a direct flight to Bonaire, rather than having to connect through Miami or Puerto Rico. We can get on the plane once, relax and when we wake up be in Bonaire! Once we have a group established, we will look for group options to get us to JFK; for those who want it a flight or potentially getting a van or bus to take us from here to there.
