What Time Do the Dives Start/End?
|
|
We will meet at the Aquarium at 2:45pm on a Saturday or a Sunday. You can plan on being finished and leaving the Aquarium around 7:30/8:00.

Are There Any Prerequisites?
|
|
You must be a certified Scuba Diver - at the PADI Open Water level or equivalent. The Aquarium will accept certifications from the following training agencies:ACUC International A.N.D.I. Australia,
British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), Confederation Mondiale des Activites Subaquatiques (CMAS),Global Underwater Explorers (GUE),
International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers, Inc. (IANTD),International Diving Educators Association (IDEA), Multinational Diving Educators Association (MDEA), National Association of Scuba Diving Schools (NASDS),
National Academy of SCUBA Educators (NASE), National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI),Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI),

What Equipment Do You Provide?
|
|
Divers will bring their own mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit. We will provide BCs, regulators, tanks and weights. We ask that even if you have your own bc/reg, you use the bc/reg that the Aquarium provides.

|
Is There a Certification Associated With This?
|
|
These dives can be used to get your Aquarium Diver certification, which is a PADI Distinctive Specialty. If you are working towards your Master Scuba Diver, it counts towards one of your Master Scuba Diver specialties.
