If you’re ready to take the next step and become a Diving Professional, our Divemaster program is for you!  Our program is unique in that we run it as an internship instead of a course, which means you’ll be in the water with our instructors and students, helping with real classes and getting real learning experiences in a real training environment. 

Since the program is run as an internship, it has a rolling start – you can start anytime.  It also means that there is no firm schedule –we can work with you to create a schedule that meets all the requirements and also meets your schedule.  The majority of our courses are on the weekends so that is when the majority of the Divemaster Internship sessions will take place, so if you have a few weekend days free each month, that’s all you need!

The cost of the program is $595, which includes all materials and use of tanks & weights. Personal gear, lake fees, PADI processing fees are not included. For more information, call us at 1-866-550-3483, or email us at diving@atlanticedge.com

Prerequisites:  Must be 18 years old, a PADI Certified Rescue Diver (or equivalent), and have at least 40 logged dives

Completing my Dive Master Course through Atlantic Edge was a good experience. You work with a lot of different instructor’s and other Dive Masters (DM) and Dive Master Candidates (DM in training.) Working with so many different people you learn several different ways to interact with the students. All of the instructors and other staff members are very patient and willing to help you or answer any questions you might have. It is a lot of work with internships and exams, but also quite rewarding. I think becoming a DM has improved my skills greatly as a diver and has better prepared me for dealing with less experienced divers that you inevitably dive with on charters.
