There are two seasons to dive in the Galapagos—Manta Season (December-May) and Whale Shark Season (June-November). The timing of this trip is right on the cusp of both seasons. We will likely see Mantas and Hammerheads, as well as the possibility that some Whale Sharks might make an appearance. This time of year brings about warmer water temperatures (76-82 degrees) and the best visibility of the year.

This trip offers up to 19 dives and three land excursions. Diving the outer islands of Wolf and Darwin are definitely the highlights where individual or schools of Mantas, Hammerheads, Mobula Rays and Eagle Rays are seen, along with possible appearances of Whale Sharks, Tiger Sharks and other varieties of pelagics.

Other highlights include a warm up dive with Sea Lions and a unique dive with endemic Marine Iguanas. Cabo Douglas in the Galapagos is one of the only places in the world where Iguanas have adapted to feeding underwater. This liveaboard is one of the few boats that has a permit to dive with the Marine Iguanas. Land excursions feature the Blue Footed Boobie and Galapagos Tortoise.
