How Does the Advanced Course Work?
Our advanced course takes place over the course of a weekend. We offer the course locally at Lake Millbrook in Haymarket, VA and Hydes Quarry (Westminster, MD) in the summer. You will get your book when you register - read the five chapters that correspond to the 5 dives that you are going to do, and then meet us for a great weekend of diving fun!

Which Five Dives Will I Do?
For a Millbrook/Hydes courses, you will do Deep Diver, Navigation Diver, Wreck Diver, Peak Performance Bouyancy, and Search & Recovery.

If I rent gear, Do I have to take it down with me?
That is your choice. You can pick up rental gear to take it with you, or we can have it ready for you at class.

What is the bad weather policy?
If bad weather is imminent and we need to cancel the dives, we will contact you to talk to you about rescheduling into another weekend.
