Chesapeake Bay Scuba Diving

The Chesapeake Bay offers lots of great opportunities for Scuba Diving! From Oyster Diving to exploring wrecks, the bay has some dives that will blow your mind!

Starting in October we will be offering dive charters in the Chesapeake Bay. Our schedule will be as follows:

Friday, 8:00am - Oyster Dives

Saturday, 8:00am - Oyster Dives

We will be offering Oyster Dives on Friday and Saturday mornings from the beginning of October through the end of December. Oyster Diving is a great way to get out and get in the water and do something interesting. The oysters in the bay are some of the tastiest around, and going out diving for them is a really fun, unique diving opportunities. You can impress your friends and family with all the great oysters you'll come back with!

We'll be offering wreck dives on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings. Just south of the Bay Bridge is the bridge rubble - the Bay's version of an artificial reef - all the rubble and broken up material left over from the construction of the Bay Bridge. There are also over 400 wrecks in the bay that are primed for some exploration, and we will be discovering them and taking divers to check them out.

The boat will depart from the South River in Edgewater, just a mile or so south of Annapolis. Most of our dive sites will be in the shadow of the Bay Bridge, just a 45 minute drive from DC and Baltimore. Keep your dive gear handy and do some fall diving with us - you won't regret it!
