Some other things that are nice to have include:
-
Slate
-
Noise Maker
-
Camera
-
Battery Chargers (Current in both Yap and Palau is 110v so there is no
need to worry about
transformers.)
Be prepared to bring whatever gear you may need. Purchase of
specialty gear is difficult (and expensive) in that part of the
world. American dollars are acceptable currency on both islands and
ATM machines are available (although not always readily available.)
Plan your currency needs accordingly. In room safes are provided at
our hotels.
We'll check in with you again next week! In the meantime if you
have questions, please send Jane an email at janes@atlanticedge.com

From Trip Leader
Jane Spencer:
Hello All:
I am so pleased to be able to share Bill's note with you. He sounds
excited and ready for our group. Bill will dive with us and I plan
on taking his Manta Diver Specialty Course.
In this picture of Bill he is drinking a Stone Money Brew from the
infinity pool. That's the Mnuw in the background, a fabulous
Indonesian wooden sailing vessel that serves as the restaurant and pub on
the Manta Ray Bay property.
We are close to a full house on this trip now, so if you are still
considering joining us...don't wait any longer! We don't want you
to miss out on the adventure.
I'll be communicating with you about trip details and getting ready in
the coming months. For now, make sure your passport is current and
you have an up to date tetanus vaccination. No specific
inoculations are required for this travel, but check with your physician
to make sure you are good to go!
Cheers
Jane Spencer
