Date for Underwater Hunter Course
|

 One of the most popular courses we
have offered recently has been our Underwater Hunter course, which we do
off our OC Dive Boat in Ocean City. This course is so popular that
we've added another date to the schedule - Friday, Oct. 16th.
If you are interested in learning to spear fish, this is a
great course. Our experienced spearfishing instructors will show
you how to use spearfishing equipment, find fish, and clean fish once
you've caught them.
Ocean City is a GREAT place to fish. There are a ton of great
wrecks that nobody dives on, so there are lots of fish! Because so
few people are doing this, it is a very sustainable way to collect fish.

Aquarium Dates

We
have added Nov. 28th to our schedule for dives at the National Aquarium
in Baltimore. Dates have been going fast, so if you're interested
in doing some great diving in the winter, sign up soon!

Western
Atlantic bluefin tuna are in deep peril. This amazing fish that can swim
over 40 mph and weigh up to 1,500 pounds is in danger of becoming extinct
within 10 years. Rampant commercial fishing has reduced the mature
population of this fish by 80% since 1970. Despite this, the federal
government is proposing to increase the catch in the Gulf of Mexico, the
only known spawning area for bluefin tuna in the western Atlantic
Ocean.
