 Cape Town, South Africa

Breathtaking Views! Fabulous Food! World Class Wine!

Following our 3rd Great White Shark encounter we will freshen up at the guesthouse and then transfer to Cape Town. We'll check in to our lodge there and hurry out to enjoy a beautiful sunset on Table Mountain!

The next day after breakfast we will go on a full day Cape Peninsula tour, an absolute Must Do. We'll drive through Bo Kaap Point Clifton Camps bay and go to Hout Bay Market for some shopping. Then on to seal island, a safari through Chapman's peak drive (weather permitting), cultural tour of Simon's town and off to Boulders Beach to visit the penguins! and of course a city walk through the historic company gardens.

The evening will be our own to enjoy so feel free to go to a local restaurants or relax at the lodge!

Cape Town was home to many leaders of the anti-apartheid movement. On Robben Island, a former penitentiary island 10 kilometres from the city, many famous political prisoners were held for years. In one of the most famous moments marking the end of apartheid, Nelson Mandela made his first public speech in decades on 11 February 1990 from the balcony of Cape Town City Hall hours after being released.

Cape Town is noted for its architectural heritage, with the highest density of Cape Dutch style buildings in the world. Cape Dutch style combines the architectural traditions of the Netherlands, Germany and France.
